Android : How to Implementation of Virtual Com Port (VCP) for Communication for Android Apps?

I need to develop Android Base Apps on Tab which will communicate with Hardware (firmware).

For that, I need to implement Virtual Com Port (VCP) for communication to hardware.

How to implement Virtual Com Port (VCP) in coding? Or require some additional installation on Tablet?
