Android : Android - How to make the transition animation for GridView?

The Material Design Guideline suggests that we should use hierarchical timing to direct the users' attention.

However, the design guideline doesn't mention any implementation hint about how to do the effect in Android app.

How can we apply the same transition animation demo in section 'Hierarchical Timing' on Android GridView?

Any suggestion would be helpful, thanks:)
