I have an android device on which apps were working fine before. Something has gone wrong and UI and apps are not working right. Data is disappearing mysteriously. I'd like to know how to re-flash the image of same version.
On previous phones, we could interrupt the poweron at bootloader stage and then flash new image. Are there tools like those ?
I have seen the thread where new version needs ROM upgrade. But with same image, its not needed. If there is good tool to upgrade, please share that too.
Yes, this is about using the device. Please suggest a better forum if this is not the target. I will immediately move the thread there. Simply "-" wont help move forward.
