Android : Getting sound (chirp) from speaker along with Broken Pipe message

on Saturday, August 16, 2014

I haven't timed the delay between chirps but this is the display from LogCat whenever it happens.

This is not in my program but it might be a result of the IOIO device I am using (connects to the headphone jack) Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Unfortunately I cannot post specific code as it is confidential. Pseudocode is acceptable.

EDIT: This happens roughly every 30 mins +/- 30 sec
