So I am making an messenger app and it has a emoji keyboard. I implemented the emoji keyboard as a fragment. When user clicked the emoji button, I will adjust the padding of the footer, and use PopupWindow to launch the emoji fragment. However, since use will also need to use softkeyboard to input, I need to make sure that the emoji keyboard will has the same height as android softkeyboard when it appears. Here are two screen shots.
As you can see the two keyboards have different height which is not good. I would really appreciate any help! Thank you.
