Android : Image picking in android application

I am picking an image from my device in my android application. This is implemented successfully. My problem is that when somebody tries to pick a video from the gallery using this functionality the app crashes. I don't want to allow the user to pick any file other than images. How do I manage this gracefully. Thanks
