Android : Making a push notifications on Android app by using Amazon Simple Notification Service

I am looking for a method to create a push notification for android application. I come up with the solution using Amazon SNS but I am not really familiar with this ( and can not find a tutorial too). So can any one help me with step by step how to do a push notifications on Android app. Thank in advance
