Android : Android Studio Creating 3 instances of my app on my device

This has never happened before. I ran the debugger and then when the app started it showed the login activity and then tried to show the mainactivity but instead it stopped and put the app in the background.No crashes or anything

I can see three instances of the app on my device

I have been trying to fix for 6 hours and would welcome any suggestions at this time please?
