Android : Send Video To C++ Native Function in Android

I am new in OpenCV for Android and so far i have implemented many image filters using OpenCV in native C++ Android. Now i want to apply some filters to videos so is there anyway that i can send a video file to Native C++ function and apply a filter on it. A sample code would be really helpful. thanks in advance for your help.
