Android : Create panoramic picture

I wish to create a panorama image capture activity similar to the stock camera app in my Galaxy nexus. The idea is to automatically capture the the image when the user moves to the next image frame as shown in the image and then once complete, stitch all the images to create one large image. Any open source projects or tutorials that can direct me to achieve this task
