Android : Did email address xx@gmail.com buy my app?

I want to perform a simple, server side check after the user has authenticated using a web service. I want to check if the user xxx@gmail.com on the client end of the web service, has purchased the app.

I'll be doing this server side, through C#/WCF. Any ideas?
