Android : How to open a TabHost Activity from a preference activity?

I have one preference activity, where three preferences options are given.. I am trying to open a tabhost activity from one of the option. It is letting me to the screen when i am clicking one of the option from preferences activity but not displaying any content.. I searched and found answers for options like HOW TO OPEN PREFERENCES ACTIVITY IN TABHOST? but i am not able to find any answer for how to open a TabHost activity from preferences activity?
