Android : How to read video frame buffers from HDMI in android?

I am trying to read the video frame buffers from HDMI. What I am trying to do is that I have an HDMI cable connected between my TV and my Set Top box.HDMI-In is fed in to set top box and HDMI Out is fed in to TV.Now when a video is rendered from HDMI on to TV I want to capture those frame buffers and process them.Is there any way to do that?? If not, is there any that I can capture the frame buffers of the live streaming video in android.I have researched a lot but could find anything useful.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.
